Build a Memory Palace

Walk a real captured space or a ready-made palace. Drop vivid memories exactly where you want them, then retrace the route to recall them.

W A S D walk · Shift run · Space jump Mouse look around 1 hang an image (or drag & drop) 2 place an object 3 place a written note 4 place a 3D model (.glb) 5 generate an AI image E inspect  ·  M minimap V review  ·  Tab menu

Private by design — scans and memories stay in this browser unless you export them.

Add an image

Upload one, paste a direct image URL, or search openly licensed images without leaving the palace.

Paste an image URL

The host must allow browser access. The image is copied into your local palace.

Search Openverse

Public-domain and Creative Commons images, with attribution kept on the memory.

Place an object

Pick a vivid object — the stranger the image, the stronger the memory.

Generate an image

Describe a vivid, bizarre scene and hang it at a locus. With a free token you get true AI generation; without one you get an instant matching photo. Stranger = more memorable.

Place a written note

A plaque with text — good for titles, lists, or exact wording.

Memory

Need to reposition it? Use Move / rotate live. The dialog closes so the object stays visible while you rotate, raise, lower, resize, and place it.

Palace library

Search, switch, and document what each space is helping you remember.

Method-of-Loci tip: walk the numbered path in order while studying, and again from memory before bed. Place actions, not just things — a chef cleaving a bowl beats a knife.

3D model library

Every imported `.glb` is saved here in this browser so you can reuse it in any palace.

Placement controls

MoveAim at a floor or wall. The model follows the crosshair.
RotateUse the ↶/↷ buttons, or press Z/X (R also rotates right).
Height & sizeUse ↑/↓ and −/+, or Q/E and the mouse wheel.

Import a direct GLB URL

Useful for a model you already host in R2, GitHub, or another CORS-enabled library.

Captured-space setup

Bring in a SuperSplat scene, align it once, then add collision and your own numbered route.

1 · Gaussian-splat scene

Accepts `.ply`, `.compressed.ply`, `.splat`, `.spz`, `.sog`, `.ksplat`, and supported `.zip` bundles.

Loading the included Archviz captured loft

2 · Align and brighten

Match the scan's up direction and floor to the walker's world. Changes preview immediately and save automatically.

180° 1.00× 0.00 m 0.00 m 0.00 m 1.00× 0.00 m 14 m

3 · Make it physically walkable

For walls, stairs, and multiple floors, load the `.collision.glb` generated from this same scan. Without it, the fallback is a flat floor.

Flat-floor fallback active
SuperSplat Convert can create a collision bundle locally. For this app, use the generated .collision.glb; it remains invisible while you walk and place memories on its surfaces.

4 · Build your locus route

Walk to each memorable stop and drop a numbered locus. Items placed nearby bind to that number for review.
